Susan Levine

President

Susan attended the University of Denver and majored in Fine Arts. Having moved back to Los Angeles from Denver, she founded Career Group in 1981, and went on to launch the firm’s other locations in San Francisco and New York. After being in the recruiting industry for a short time, she quickly realized the importance of launching a boutique administrative staffing firm that touched key clients and candidates with extraordinary high end service. She turned her firm into a niche business where she elevated standards of the industry. Susan is best known for her strategic, one on one relationships with leading CEOs and business leaders across the country. Following the success of Career Group, Susan launched Syndicatebleu, a preeminent creative talent agency. Susan repeated these successes by launching fourthFLOOR fashion talent, a highly recognizable fashion recruiting firm, and Avenue Pacific, the executive search arm. She has 35 years of experience in the staffing industry with strong relationships that touch finance, advertising, fashion, real estate, media and high profile celebrities. Outside of work, Susan loves traveling, gourmet cooking, and spending time with her family.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Kansas, where she majored in Strategic Communications. Since joining the firm in 2006, Joanna has been a strong asset to the Career Group team and now serves as Director. Prior to working at Career Group, Joanna worked for a prominent talent agency and a private equity firm. In her free time, Joanna enjoys staying active with fitness, listening to live music, and trying out restaurants.

Danie has formed very strong partnerships with prominent clients and candidates who instill their trust in her ability to create a successful match. She has a Counseling Degree from Vanier College in Montreal, Canada. Danie began her career as a Counselor, which has transferred well into instinctively knowing all the nuances of strategic partnerships. Danie works with leading, top tier clients in Los Angeles and has built relationships with many media and finance firms. Outside of work, Danie enjoys traveling with her family, loves to hike and to read.

Annie is a Roger Williams University graduate, where she studied Psychology and English Literature. Upon graduating, Annie moved to New York and started her career in the film industry. In 2007, Annie joined Career Group as a junior recruiter in the Temporary Division, and since then has helped recruit, develop and successfully expand the New York office. Now as Managing Director, Annie is responsible for thoroughly training and managing the New York Temporary and Full Time Divisions. She also spearheaded the launch of the Greenwich, Connecticut office. Annie lives with her husband in Greenwich, Connecticut, and enjoys swimming, playing tennis and spending time with family and friends in Fire Island and Vermont.

She went on to graduate from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Arts. Her passion for film and entertainment led her to work for reputable film studios and entertainment PR firms. After her long career in entertainment as an assistant, Jillian was ready to bring her fast paced skill set to something new and exciting. In April of 2010, Jillian joined the Full Time Division of Career Group. She quickly became a Senior Account Executive, with a large book of referral-based clients across all industries. Jillian’s candidates and clients all rave about her. When she isn’t traveling to far-off destinations and exploring the world, Jillian enjoys photography and playing volleyball.
